Summary
This is a custom built CMS that runs a variety of web portals under the Dinsey brands including disney.com and Starwares.com.
It’s offical tag line is: “The official website for all things Disney: theme parks, resorts, movies, tv programs, characters, games, videos, music, shopping, and more!”
Highlights: I specifically worked on the following:
- Migrated the 20thCenturyStudios.com portal to this CMS
- Refactored the CMS to load region specific data just reduced page size by 80%.
- Refactor some CMS forms to use React instead of KnockoutJS
- Intergrated custom DAM to incorporate merchandising elements on specific starwars.com pages
